Witch Herbal for Yule, the Winter Solstice
As the qualities of Fire and the Sun are invoked and honored on the day of Yule, the following plants, herbs, resins and spices are highly associated with the celebration of the Sabbat:
“Mistletoe, Myrrh, Frankincense, Star Anise, Cinnamon, Clove, Coriander, Spikenard, Holly, Ivy, Oak, Apple, Pomegranate”
For this Magical Day we suggest the following incense recipe or as we prefer to call it Magic Herbal For Yule:
- 1 part Cinnamon
- 1 part Star Anise
- 1/2 part Myrrh
- 1/2 part Clove
- 1/2 part Coriander
- Pomegranate Skin
- and 12 pomegranate seeds
Make sure to create a well mixed incense and place the 12 pomegranate seeds last in the fire for 12 wishes to come true for the new Year.
