Nostradamus and Astrology
We have predicted a change like no other in our predictions for 2020. And we still predict that this weirdness will last, but will also give birth to hope. Right now, Jupiter in Taurus will make his best to bring all kinds of blessings and – at last – the good vibes we so desperately need!
But let’s focus on the most famous astrologer of all time. It seems that Magical Recipes Online‘s Mage and Alchemist are not the first who predicted this madness. Michel de Nostredame, born in December 1503, also known as Nostradamus, was a popular French astrologer, seer and physician. He is best known for his book Les Prophéties, a collection of 942 poetic prophecies about future events.

Although poetic, his prophecies, most of the times, make perfect sense. Nostradamus wrote what he had seen in the stars and the astral plane – probably parallel universes, too. Sometime spirits give cryptic messages. At the same time, he was an Astrologer (!!!) in medieval dark times, in the royal court, surrounded by fanatics! So yes, we can excuse some poetry from this powerful seer! So let’s see some of his predictions!

2022: Death of a King (or like a king)
“The sudden death of the first character, he will be changed and they will put another in his kingdom.”
This, of course, signals the sudden death of a VERY important figure of this world. Some assume Joe Biden, or Queen Elizabeth.

2022: War in Black Sea & Global Warming
“Like the sun, the head will seal the shining sea. The live fish of the Black Sea will almost boil.”
Black sea water’s temperature is rising – most assume due to bombing and war. The famous astrologer predicted Global Warming, probably as a result of an unparalleled Solar Storm! Either way he’s spot on right?

2023: More War / War in Middle East
“Seven months of great war, people die because of evil but Rouen, Evreux will not fall into the hands of the king.”
As we correctly predicted this was not about the war in Ukraine. A new war started in Middle East with thousands casualties. The war of the 7 months may be this one. Hence, unfortunately we may need to wait another three – four months for the raging flames to go off.
Four Nostradamus Predictions for 2024:
Let’s take a look of what predictions the famous french astrologer made for the new year!
1. An Earthquake that will shock us
Nostradamus predicted a physical catastrophe that will shock a city where a big theatre is housed in the 20th day of Taurus. The prediction has to do with the day when the Sun is on the 20th degree of Taurus (hence around 10 of May).
“Le vingtième jour du Taureau, le soleil fera trembler la terre / Le grand théâtre emballé s’effondrera / L’air, le ciel et la terre s’obscurciront et deviendront nuageux / Quand le faux dieu et les saints seront emportés.”
“On the twentieth day of Taurus, the sun will shake the earth / The great packed theater will collapse / The air, sky and earth will darken and become cloudy / When the false god and the saints are swept away.”
Does this has to do with Hollywood or does it refer to a city with a famous ancient theatre (like Athens or Rome?). We sincerely hope none.
2. A New Pope will Rise (and will last)
The current Pope (pontifex) is 84yo and someone who stabilized the Christian church and has done many things that christianity should be proud of. If the predictions are true then a much younger one will replace him.
“Par la mort d’un très vieux pontife / Un Romain d’âge mûr sera élu / On dira de lui qu’il affaiblit son siège / Mais il restera longtemps assis et en activité mordante”
“By the death of a very old pontiff / A Roman of mature age will be elected / It will be said of him that he weakens his seat / But he will remain seated and in biting activity for a long time”
Actually this prophecy is pretty clear. It foretells about a new and young pope who will replace the “very” old one and bring at first talks about his age, but later he will prove them wrong!
3. War with China?
The last thing we all need is another war. But Nostradamus seems to foretell about a war with China (or Russia?). The color red was attributed to communist nations. China is still a communist country although some feel that Putin’s Russia is actually the same thing.

“the red opponent will turn pale with fear / Putting the Pacific in fear”
4. A new ‘King of Isles’?
The last prophecy revolves around a sovereign realm probably of the United Kingdom, wherein Nostradamus envisions the deposition of an “insular monarch / king of the Isles” through coercive means. This foretelling portends the potential banishment (?) of Charles III or his prime minister (?) and a wide-ranging transformation in the political landscape of the United Kingdom.
